Who we are
Ceylona is operated by oneDesigns, a company based in California, USA, at www.ceylonaa.com. A Sri Lankan company is being registered; until it is, oneDesigns is the contracting party. The marketplace is not taking orders in the meantime.
Our role
Ceylona is the marketplace and the merchant of record for payment. The artisan named on each listing is responsible for making, packing and posting the item, at the delivery price they set; we are responsible for payment handling and dispute resolution.
Prices and currency
All prices are in Sri Lankan rupees and include applicable taxes. Delivery is calculated separately at checkout and shown before you pay.
Handmade variation
Every item is made by hand. Colour, grain, glaze and dimensions vary between pieces. Listings describe the expected range; variation within it is not a defect.
Returns and refunds
Fourteen days for a change of mind on stock items, excluding made-to-order and custom work. Faulty or misdescribed items are refunded in full including delivery. See the returns page for detail.
Seller obligations
Sellers must be the maker of what they list, or a cooperative selling members' work. Reselling imported goods is grounds for immediate removal and forfeiture of pending payouts.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction.
