Ceylona — Sri Lankan heritage, authentically yours

For makers

Your work deserves more than a WhatsApp catalogue

Ceylona gives Sri Lankan artisans a shopfront that takes card payments and pays out in rupees — without a website, a card machine or a line of code. You set your own delivery price; there's no courier to book.

Questions makers ask

Straight answers, no small print

Still unsure? Call us on 011 234 5678 — a real person answers, seven days a week, in Sinhala, Tamil or English.

What does it cost?

Nothing to join, nothing monthly, nothing to list. We take 13% of the item price when something sells, and that covers payment processing and support. Delivery is priced by you and paid to you in full. There are no other deductions.

How do I get paid?

Straight to a Sri Lankan bank account in rupees, every Friday, for orders delivered up to the previous Sunday. No foreign transfer fees, no waiting on an overseas processor.

Do I need to speak English?

No. The seller dashboard and our support team work in Sinhala, Tamil and English. We translate your product descriptions for overseas buyers at no charge.

Who handles delivery?

You do — pack it and post it with whichever courier you use, at the price you set in your dashboard. If a parcel arrives damaged or never turns up, the buyer is refunded in full, and it comes out of the payout for that sale, the same as a return does.

Can I sell things I didn't make?

No. Ceylona is only for makers selling their own work, or cooperatives selling the work of named members. We check, and we remove shops that resell imported goods.

What if a buyer wants a custom piece?

Turn on made-to-order for a listing and set your lead time. Buyers see it before they order, and the countdown starts from the day payment clears.
