In the maker's words

This is made by hand in Kegalle, near the elephant orphanage, using acrylic. The fibre is washed, boiled and pressed by hand, and no tree is cut for a sheet of it. The colour comes out as multicolour. Because every piece is made by hand, small differences in colour and finish are part of it — no two come out quite the same.
