In the maker's words
This is woven by hand in the hill country around Kandy, using handspun cotton and natural indigo. The cloth is worked on a pit loom, so the selvedge is a little different every length. Because every piece is made by hand, small differences in colour and finish are part of it — no two come out quite the same.
